The SR6 is being offered in limited quantities and despite the high level of appointment, carries only a small price premium over the Swift GLX model.
It is fitted as standard with a host of performance and cosmetic extras, with an accent on sports motoring, and reflects the car`s achievements in motor racing.
The SR6 is available with either a 5 speed manual gearbox or four-stage electronically controlled automatic transmission, and manual versions come with a Coby sports rear muffler.
It is powered by a 1.5 litre, 75 kW M15A double overhead camshaft engine with variable valve timing and four valves per cylinder.
In manual transmission form, the SR6 has a recommended retail price of $22,500, just $1,000 more than the Swift GLX model and the SR6 automatic is priced at $23,990.
